Nancy Chaffin took a break from her hospitality career for something more important…family and raising her children, Alyssa and Lauren. Prior to their arrival, she held progressive management positions with Jason’s Deli in Austin, Texas, and Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. She assisted Michael with the opening of the four star Inn on Biltmore Estate in 2000…and married him soon after.
Nancy is a graduate of New Mexico State University with a B.S. degree in Hotel/Restaurant/Tourism Management. Additionally, she competed on the university cycling team.
Along with caring for her children (and her husband), Nancy enjoys a variety of activities including cycling, personal fitness, gardening and indoor plant care.
Nancy is a certified personal trainer by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America…which really means she’s in much better shape than Michael.
